Party Ideas
I thought this might be helpful for those planning a kids birthday party
so I am getting off the wedding favors and moving to party favors today.
Just a little outline about what I did for my daughter's 10th birthday party.
These are some party ideas you might be able to use for your own kids birthday
party. Here's how my party idea went over:
When her guests first arrived they
all had fun dancing for about a half hour while
they
were
waiting
to eat
pizza.
Once they were done with the pizza they did a craft. The craft was 3-D glow
in the dark puzzle of butterflies for the girls and ships or dinosaurs for
the boys. Since they had to build these it did take up a lot of time
but they all enjoyed making their craft. When everyone was done with their
craft
we all had cake and ice-cream.
I also added a pinata, knowing these are great party ideas, and all the children
took turns breaking it open. I filled the pinata with candy, mini yo-yo's,
stickers (smiley face),bracelets (glow in the dark), mini stick on glow in
the dark
shapes,
mini erasers and
mini bubbles. As the pinata broke open they picked up the goodies inside and
put them in their goody bags. I also kept some extra things to give out just
in case someone didn't get much from the pinata.
When they were done with
the pinata
it was time for everyone to go home. As the kids left my daughter gave each
guest a smiley face pencil.
Every one of her guests left happy and they all said they loved their
craft and all the goodies they had.
Decorations ( I knew she was having boys and girls so we picked something colorful
but not so girlish):
Streamers and Balloons: Red, blue, yellow, green and purple.
Plates, cups and napkins: Colorful smiley faces.
Tablecloth: yellow
Centerpiece: Colorful smiley faces that matched the plates, cups and napkins.
Pinata: smiley face
Cake: smiley face

Unfortunately we don't
sell Pinatas or other items in my list, but you'll
find them locally (why pay shipping?). Pricing, of course, will vary but it
gives you a general idea. Hopefully these party ideas will help some hosts
